Welcome and thanks for visiting the Ilkeston Shotokan Karate Club website!

Everybody is welcome to train at Ilkeston Karate Club from age 7 upwards. The Club teaches Shotokan Karate, and students learn about self defence, self confidence, flexibility, and fitness.

Founded by Sensei Kevin Lomax 5th Dan with over 40yrs experience, we are a non profit Karate Club. Anyone can learn Karate, whatever their age or level of fitness, whether they are new or returning after absence.
