Jason Divilly started his training in Kyokushinkai Karate in 1975 in Capetown, South Africa. He trained under Sensei Barnes, Sensei Kenny Uytenbogaart (now 7th Dan) and Sensei Brendon Divilly and achieved his junior black belt in November 1981. He then had a 20 year break from karate before, in 2001, he started training in Shotokan Karate in Skegness. He trained under Sensei Reynolds, Sensei Neville Moore and Sensei Kevin Lomax. Jason achieved his Senior 1st Dan Black Belt in 2009 and his 2nd Dan Black Belt in November 2013. He continues to train and teach at the Scorpion Karate Club, Skegness where he is an ISKA assistant instructor.
