Ilkeston Shotokan Karate Club Student of the Month December 2024:

The Student of the Month award for December goes to Brent. Brent is a 5th Dan senior student but still trains hard and always wants to learn more and increase his knowledge of Shotokan Karate. He enjoys exploring the Bunkai of Kata and is always willing to share his ideas with other students. Brent has impressed Sensei Lomax with his improvement in using his hips in Tai Sabaki and blocking techniques. Well done Brent and keep up the great work.

Ilkeston Shotokan Karate Association Club Competition October 2024:

A big thank you to all students who took part in the club Competition on Sunday October 6th. There were some great performances on the day in both Kata and Kumite from students of all grades. Conor and Alfie put in an excellent performing in Kata and the Senior Kumite was great to watch with very spirited performances by all involved. Very well done to all students who took part and made the day a success.
