 General Course Sunday 21st April 2024 at Akeru Shin Karate, Louth:

Sensei Ali Bourne of Akeru Shin Karate has invited Sensei Kev Lomax to teach at a General Course on Sunday 21st April 2024 at the Meridian Leisure Centre, Louth LE11 8RS. The course will run from 10.00am - 1.00pm and Sensei Lomax will be teaching various aspects of Shotokan Karate. More information will follow shortly.

Ilkeston Shotokan Karate Club Student of the Month March 2024:

The Student of the Month for March is Jane. Jane has been putting in a great effort at training recently and has impressed Sensei Kev Lomax with the progress she has made. Janes techniques in both basics and Kata are really improving and she is working well towards her next grading. Keep up the great work Jane and you are sure to improve further!

Kendojo Martial Arts, Louth Course 2nd July 2023:

On Sunday 2nd July 2023 Sensei Kevin Lomax travelled to Kendojo Martial Arts Centre in Louth to teach a 3 hour general course in Shotokan Karate. The session was hosted by Master Teresa and Master Paul who are both Chief Instructors at Kendojo in Taekwondo. The course was attended by Brown and Black belt students who were taught various Shotokan Karate techniques including basic blocks and strikes, Kihon Ippon and Jiyu Ippon along with Heian Katas. The Taekwondo students were enthusiastic and, even though they were training in a different style, performed very well. Sensei Lomax would like to thank everyone at Kendojo Martial Arts Centre for attending the course and making the day such a success
